Rodrigo Aviles spent over a decade mastering the sign industry from the inside — learning fabrication, installation, permitting, and the engineering behind structures that need to last years in the elements. With a background in civil and electrical engineering, he didn’t just understand how signs were built. He understood how they could be built better.
Rodrigo and his wife Monica made the leap. From their home in New Jersey, they founded AVI Design with a simple belief: businesses deserve a sign partner who treats every project like their own. Monica brought years of experience in business and hospitality management — the operational discipline and client-first mindset that would become the backbone of how AVI Design runs today.
What started at the kitchen table grew into something neither of them expected. Not because they had the biggest shop or the lowest prices, but because Rodrigo never said no to a challenge. Complex designs, difficult permits, impossible deadlines — “yes, we can do it” became more than a phrase. It became the company’s identity.
